Unlike typical transportation services, Safe Ride provides recently retired Police Officers, Troopers and Federal Agents as your personal driver, in your car. Who will drive my car?
All Safe Ride chauffeurs are retired Police Officers, Troopers and Federal agents who have worked the NY area and in Florida for years. That’s why we are “The Safest Ride in Town!”
May I Set up a Corporate Account?
Yes, Corporate Accounts are welcome.
How far in advance should I make a Reservation?
Please reserve at least 48 hours in advance.
However, we can and do work on a shorter schedule when needed.
Why would I hire a Safe Ride chauffeur as opposed to hiring a limousine?
The best way to answer this question is with another question; if something unpleasant occurred, who would you and your family rather be with, a regular limo driver or a law enforcement professional with years of experience in emergency situations?
The choice is clear!
I only need a chauffeur occasionally. Is that a problem?
No problem at all. We will drive you a few times a week, a few times a month or a few times a year. It’s up to you.
Can I get the same driver each time?
Yes, we will provide the same driver as often as possible.
What if my meeting ends early, how do I contact the driver?
When we confirm your reservation we will give you your driver’s name and mobile number.
You can text or call your driver directly.
What does the chauffeur wear?
Business attire. However, if you prefer the driver to wear casual attire, just let us know. It’s up to you.
How do you charge?
Safe Ride charges on an hourly basis rounded up to the next quarter hour. There is a 4 hour minimum charge per trip.
No split shifts.
Airport drop off and pick up is available at a lower rate for our regular customers. Airport rate is based on mileage from your home to airport. Request Rates and Terms for full details.
Invoices are prepared and your credit card charged on the Monday after your trip. Invoice will be e-mailed to you.
Do I pay the driver?
No, you will set up an account and we will charge your credit card on the Monday after your trip. We will send your invoice via e-mail.
We accept AMEX, VISA, MasterCard or you may pay by check.
Do I tip the Chauffeur directly?
Yes. It’s best to tip directly based on the service provided.
If this is a Corporate account or you do not normally carry
cash just let the office know how much to add for the chauffeur.
The driver will get 100% of your tip and he’ll know it came from you.
What if I need to cancel?
Email or call as soon as possible.
When I’m in the car I may talk about pending business transactions?
Not a problem.
All of our drivers sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
